Straight from Paris comes this delightful emporium. The first Paris shop opened in 1977 and founder Robert Linxe has
been growing the operation ever since.
Some of our favorites are the Maiko, Romeo, Salvador and the Mont Blanc.
They also serve some incredible Bouchees. Two of our favorites are the Minerva (praline, candied orange, raisins and
walnut) and the Jolika (pistachio and almond paste and dark chocolate).
The hot chocolate is unbelievable, definitely a competitor for best hot chocolate in New York.
We've always found the service to be friendly and accommodating.
An enthusiastic review from hipguide.
It's interesting how within a 10 block (1/2 radius of this store how much quality chocolate is currently available.
Rockefeller Center houses La Maison Du Chocolat, Godiva and Teuscher, A few blocks up 5th Avenue another
Godiva, Lindt and Bergdorfs selection. Cross 5th Avenue heading East and you have Richart, Leonidas, 5th
Avenue Chocolatiere and tucked neatly into Park Avenue Plaza Neuchatel. Scoot a few blocks up Park Avenue
and you arrive at Fauchon and then Pierre Marcolini.
Pretty amazing when you think about it.
