July 29, 2009 - Wednesday - New York City, New York - 7:30pm, lecture, 8:30, guided tasting
Come hear Dr. Kristy Leissle, world-renowned chocolate expert and PhD in Chocolate, discuss all things chocolate at
Isack Art Gallery. Dr. Kristy will be discussing everything cacao from the origin of chocolate to how chocolate goes from
bean to bar. Exciting tales about her year traveling around the world studying chocolate!
After the talk, Dr. Kristy will lead everyone through a delectable chocolate tasting where we'll taste chocolate from
Donna & Co, Fine & Raw, Amano Artisan Chocolate, Green and Black's Organic, NuNu Chocolate, Kallari, Rapunzel,
Taza and much more!
ALL proceeds from the event will go to the Shay Hawkins Medical Relief Fund. It's $40 and you can sign up or read more

Laughing Moon Chocolates is holding a Local Bounty Workshop.
Leigh Williams will conduct the workshop which will cover Vermont made specialty foods including Mitzi’s Fresh Mountain
Breakfast, Boyden Valley Winery, Rock Art Brewery, Green Mountain Distillers, The Nutty Vermonter & The Sweet
Crunch Bake Shop. We will make our own Peanut Butter using fresh Virginia-grown Peanuts and work with other locally
made foods to create chocolate specialties. We will prepare homemade centers for dipping and hand-dip them in milk,
dark and white chocolate. We will also dip fresh local blueberries and raspberries. The workshop includes a hands-on
portion when you will prepare and dip your own chocolates and learn techniques. The cost is $150.
August 14, 2009 - Friday - York, Maine - St. George's Episcopal Church - From 6 - 8:30 pm the church will be
holding a funraiser with baked goods etc. The proceeds go to help the church's library.

September 26, 2009 - Saturday - Beer and Chocolate Tasting Event - Cranford, NJ
From 5 - 7 pm. The Donna Toscana Chocolate Lounge is the site of this tasting. Chocolatier Diane Pinder will serve
samples of her chocolates and other desserts that compliment the beer. She will be teaming up with The Climax Brewery
in Roselle Park, NJ. The price is $19 per person and you can get more

October 10, 2009 - Saturday - Lititz Chocolate Walk - Lititz, Pennsylvania
From 10 am - 4 pm 2,000, that's right the event is limited to 2,000, chocolholics wander through 29 tasting stations in
Downtown Lititz, home of Wilbur Chocolate. Local chocolatiers and pastry chefs set up and allow you to sample their
wares. The price seems awfully fair, $15 through September, $20 after, gets you a button that identifies you as a worthy
recipient of all of this chocolate. The event sold out before day of the last two years so if interested in going we'd
recommend checking out the
