01/28/2008 - Nestled in the seventh floor the Bergdorf chocolate salon is a well appointed space with an inventory that
changes from time to time. Today's visit found a nice selection of Vosges and Marie Belle product. They also have an
array of La Maison du Chocolat truffles. They carry pre packaged assortments from Charbonnel and Walker and a real
treat are the small little boxes of Mazet. Try the chocolate covered almonds from Mazet for a real treat. They also carry
some items from the Yoku Moku line. If you've never had these Japanese cookies you're in for a treat. Worth a visit.
2006 - 2007 - This top notch department store has a small but interestingly stocked chocolate section. A decent
selection of Vosges and Marie Belle especially the large size Pin Up girl chocolate bars are found here along with
assorted odds and ends. Of this we never get tired of Altmann & Kuhne. Out of Vienna these Austrian chocolates are
extraordinary. Located across the street from the Plaza Hotel.
