05/05/2008 - A recent visit found the inside of the store had a few alterations but otherwise things have stayed the
same. High quality, beautifully packaged one of the nicest gift items available in New York.
2006 - The great grand daddies of the chocolate business with over 200 years in. These Parisian giants have finally
come to New York and the city couldn't be happier. The store is on the small side but it is beautifully decorated with a
few pieces of period art to transport you back in time to a Paris of long ago. The shop doesn't carry the full line but they
do have more than a representative sampling. The Dark Chocolate ganache maybe the best we have yet to come
across. Mix together a few 85% and a few 72% pieces and enjoy trying to decide which one you prefer. The creme
brulee is the best in New York outside of Kee's. The Dark Chocolate with Honey is a revelation. They work well with
fruits and trying the tangerine was a particular pleasure. A friend purchased a few decorative flowers in chocolate
bases and is still raving about the experience. The Upper East Side lost it's Neuhaus recently but just a few blocks away
the neighborhood has gained a tremendous shop. Nineteen pictures from the stores opening.
