05/08/2008 - Located near to Hunter College this Food Emporium has set aside a nice separate space for its chocolate
section. The chocolate selection is first rate. We've long wondered when one of the major players in New York's grocery
scene was going commit some serious space to carrying chocolate and now we have an answer. Showcases filled with
truffles as well as a nice selection of bars and packaged chocolate. Some of the lines available include Divine Africa,
Zoffer, Chantilly, Galler, Godiva, Vintage, Bernard Castelain, Michel Clizel, Olivier, Pralus, Valrhona, Coppeneur,
Heilemann, Hachez, Schwermer, Butlers, Lily O'Briens, Amadei, Domori, Gobino, Venchi, Kschocolat, Amattler, Blanxart,
Felchlin, Laderach, Schoenenberger, Tschirren, Villars, Ackermann's, Charbonnel and Walkers, Green and Black, Alice
Chocolates, Anna Shea, Charles Candies, Frans Chocolates, Guittard, John Kelly, Knipschildt, Long Grove Chocolates,
Lake Champlain, Scharffenberger, Terra Nostra, Valerie, Vene, Vosges Haut - Chocolat and El Rey.
Add to all this they carry the best line of Fauchom products still available in New York City. With the closing of Fauchon's
three Manhattan stores this is important to us.
