Barry Callebaut Chocolate - The company was the child of a merger between Belgian firm
Callebaut and the French firm Cacao Barry in 1996. They make chocolate through such diverse
brands as Brach's, Sarotti and Alpia.
Café Tasse - The store in Brussels is a must visit. They make great chocolate bars as well as
some fine nougats.
Cavalier NV - Producers of a variety of non sugar added chocolate bars, shells etc for the low carb
diets. They can be reached at Cavalier NV , B.L. Pussemierstraat 46 ,Eeklo 9900, Belgium.
Chocoa - Producers of chocolate for fountains. They also make bulk chocolate and have an
organic fair tradeline.
Chocolate Fashion - This Belgian firm makes a variety of products including loose chocolates and
petit fours. They can be reached at Chocolate Fashion, Betekomse Steenweg 78B, Aarschot
3200, Belgium.
Cote D'Or - In business since 1883. Makers of all sorts of chocolate much of which doesn't seem
to be available in the USA at the moment although you can find the bars, with the distinctive
elephant, in many shops.
Dolfin - Michaël and Jean-François Poncelet formed Dolfin in 1989. Try the pink peppercorn or
orange peel chocolates for something special.
Galler - Jean Galler started the firm in 1976 in the back of his father's pastry shop in Liege
Belgium. The bars are available in many shops here in the United States.
Guylian Chocolates - Makers of Seashells , the la Trufflina line , the la Perlina line and Opus
truffles.
Leonidas - Doing everything in reverse firm founder Léonidas Kestekides traveled to Brussels to
exhibit his confectionary goods from America and decided to transplant to Belgium where he
opened a shop. Topnotch chocolate and now makers of a line of Ice Cream.

New Tree Chocolate - The company started in 2001. In New York you can find their bars at many
Food Emporiums, The Amish Marketplace and other stores.
Nirvana Chocolates - Sleek packaging. Nice and interesting selection. Try the Zen collection
especially the Pineapple Calypso.
Van Damme Confectionery - They don't make chocolate but this is my website and I love there
marshmallows. I purchased them a bunch of times in a shop off Leicester Square in London and
have always have found them soft tasty and wonderful.
